Diego Sirgado is a 24-year-old Luso-Angolan racing driver, born of two countries and racing for both. Quiet on the radio, relentless on the data, he carries the weight and the pride of two flags every time the lights go out.
Selected for the FPAK Júnior Team 2026, he now competes in the BMW M2 Cup Iberia while building the long road towards the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The story starts at five years old, on a small kart, on small Portuguese tracks. A borrowed helmet two sizes too big, a pair of jeans, and the same look in the eyes that's still there today. Before the championships, the trophies and the federation programmes, there was just a kid who already knew exactly where he wanted to be.
"Desde pequeno, tudo o que tinha rodas me fascinava."

A journey built on resilience, coaching others to fund his own racing, and earning a seat at the top of Portuguese motorsport.
“Desde pequeno, tudo o que tinha rodas me fascinava.” Karts, bikes, anything with wheels. Diego's love for speed showed before he could explain it.
Years of national karting in Portugal, the school of every great driver. Funded his own racing by coaching others, turning every obstacle into another tenth of pace.

Stepped from karts into the Citroën C1 Learn & Drive Cup at the Estoril Circuit, the toughest training-ground for Portuguese touring talent. Wheel-to-wheel racing in front of his parents, fastest of 220 in qualifying.

Moved into long-distance competition with the #73 Caterham, flying both the Portuguese and Angolan flags onto the European endurance grid. Named Rookie Reveal of the Year, with top-level performances, reaching the top 5 multiple times and finishing the championship 7th overall out of 47 competitors. Were it not for a few DNFs, the podium was a real possibility.
Selected by the Federação Portuguesa de Automobilismo e Karting as one of just four drivers for the 2026 FPAK Júnior Team circuit programme, the federal elite path for Portuguese motorsport.
Racing the newly developed 313 hp BMW M2 racing version, prepared by BMW M Motorsport, in the Cup Iberia. One of the most competitive single-make grids on the Peninsula.

The destination is clear: the FIA World Endurance Championship. Every lap, every season, every partner, chosen with that mountain in mind.
Speed only matters if it carries something with it. Off the track, Diego founded and leads two ventures focused on environmental compensation and the development of rural communities in Angola, turning visibility on the grid into measurable impact on the ground.
An environmental compensation venture, measuring, validating and scaling carbon and ecosystem offsets that fund regenerative projects in Angolan soil.
A social mission rooted in Angolan tradition, investing in the development of rural communities, education and infrastructure where it's most needed.
For partners: every sponsorship is tied to a social-impact line. Your brand isn't just on a livery, it's on a project that changes lives in Angola.
